A three-piece suit with a six-button front: that is the Six-Button Suit, made to order by our family tailoring house in Hong Kong. Three pieces are made together from one cloth, so the jacket, waistcoat and trousers match exactly.
Lighter cloths suit warm weather and travel, while heavier ones come into their own in winter. Look at the photograph for colour and texture; those are the two things a picture shows best. Tell us if you would like another cloth or colour and we will talk you through what is possible.
A three-piece suit adds a layer of formality, and suits the man who likes to dress with a little more ceremony. See all our 3-piece suits for more ideas.
The photograph shows a six-button front. On the jacket, the overall cut can be normal, tailored or loose, depending on how closely you like a jacket to follow the body. For the trousers, you can go without pleats for a clean front, or add a single or double pleat turned in or out. On the waistcoat, pockets can number two, three or four.
Start by getting in touch: share what you like about this suit and we will take it from there, from choosing the cloth to the final fitting. In-person measuring is available at our Kowloon showroom and on our trips, and the how-to-measure page explains how to take your own.
If anything feels off at the fitting, say so; the point of the appointment is to put it right before the final sewing.
