Our Slim-Fit Check Cotton Shirt is made to measure by JJ's Tailor in Hong Kong, cut to your numbers rather than to a standard size. It is made to your measurements, so the shirt sits properly rather than approximately.

Fabric and colour

On pattern, check is a way to add character while staying smart, where the scale and the colours decide how formal it feels. In the photograph it is made up in cotton, soft, breathable and comfortable against the skin. You choose the cloth yourself in the online designer, so the one in the photograph is a guide to colour and style rather than a limit.

Who it suits

Wear it under a jacket with a tie, or open-necked on its own. There are more men's shirts to look at if you would like to compare.

Details you can choose

It is pictured with a slim-fit cut. Plackets come single, double or concealed, with pleated fronts available as well. Choose the collar that frames your face and suits your tie: classic, cut-away, extra cut-away, pointed, wing or button-down. The hem can be a tail cut or a straight cut. Add monogram initials, or contrast fabric on the collar and cuffs. A chest pocket is optional, on either side or on both.

Everything is chosen on screen, with cloth and details first, then your measurements, then your cart. You can enter your own measurements, using the guide, or have them taken at a fitting in Hong Kong or in one of the cities on our travel schedule.
