As for colour, black is the formal choice, and one that carries naturally into the evening. A good cloth is half of a good garment, and the other half is how it is cut and sewn for you. You choose the cloth yourself in the online designer, so the one in the photograph is a guide to colour and style rather than a limit.
The photograph shows a skinny-fit cut. The back can have one vent or two, whichever you like the look of. Topstitching comes in two forms, full stitching or lapel stitching. Three cuts are offered, normal, tailored and loose, so you set how much room the jacket has.
