Jacket and trousers are made together from one cloth, so colour and pattern match exactly. Our family has been tailoring in Hong Kong for about 30 years, and the same standards go into every piece we make.

Colour and cloth

The tartan is a heritage pattern that works best when the rest of the outfit stays quiet. The colour and cloth in the photograph show the look we have in mind, and the fit comes from your own measurements. Tell us if you would like another cloth or colour and we will talk you through what is possible.

When to wear it

Dress it up with a white shirt and tie, or dress it down with an open collar and loafers. There are more 2-piece suits to look at if you would like to compare.

Cut and finish

It is pictured with a double-breasted front. For the jacket, choose a normal, tailored or loose cut to decide how close to the body the jacket sits. Topstitching comes in two forms, full stitching or lapel stitching. On the trousers, you can add turn-ups at the hem if you like them.

This style is ordered through us directly: send us an enquiry or book a fitting, and we will talk you through the cloth, lining and details. Meet us in Hong Kong or on a trip to the USA and other countries; we bring fabrics along, and the fitting generally takes around 15 to 20 minutes.
