Austin Wool Overcoat is one of our men's topcoats, made to your own measurements in Hong Kong. It is cut as an outer layer, with room for tailoring or knitwear underneath.

Cloth and colour

It is shown in wool, a natural fibre that breathes well, drapes cleanly and holds its shape through the day. Lighter cloths suit warm weather and travel, while heavier ones come into their own in winter. Tell us if you would like another cloth or colour and we will talk you through what is possible.

Cut and details

We will go over the details with you, including these:

• Pockets: straight or cutaway, with or without flaps, plus an optional ticket pocket
• Lining: from our lining collection
• Front: single-breasted (three or four buttons, optionally fly front) or double-breasted (four, six or eight)
• Breast pocket: optional top pocket
• Sleeve buttons: two to five, regular or kissing

How ordering works

To place an order, send us an enquiry. Tell us which overcoat you like, your preferred cloth and colour, and any details you want changed. Fittings are held in Hong Kong and in the cities we visit on our trips; each takes about 15 to 20 minutes and begins with a full set of measurements.

A fitting is also the moment to check how it feels and fix any details before the final finish.
