A blue topcoat with a three-button front: that is the Three-Button Blue Top Coat, made to order by our family tailoring house in Hong Kong. It is a coat made to layer over a suit jacket without pulling across the back or shoulders.

Cloth and colour

As for colour, blue is livelier and more relaxed than navy, and particularly good in spring and summer. Lighter cloths suit warm weather and travel, while heavier ones come into their own in winter. Tell us if you would like another cloth or colour and we will talk you through what is possible.

Details to talk through

The version in the photograph has a three-button front. Three lengths are offered, half, three-quarter and full, so the coat finishes where you want it to. The lapel can be notched or peaked, whichever suits the coat you have in mind. You also choose the lining, which can match or contrast with the outer cloth.

Occasions
